Nendaz is an attractive resort located at the centre of the Valais region  in Switzerland. The destination offers a wide range of skiing, snowboarding, freeriding and other snow activities. Nendaz has been awarded the “Families Welcome” label since 1997.

Freestyle snowboarding - Burton Progression Park
Burton and Nendaz Tourisme have teamed up to create the perfect place for beginners to progress to the next level of freestyle snowboarding. Specifically trained coaches from the Neige Aventure School & Shop are  on site to provide riders with expert instruction on the basics of freestyle terrain. Smaller and less intimidating features, including small tables, boxes, rails and spines give riders the chance to start small and gradually progress to the next level. Relaxed waiting areas, called Stop and Drop Zones, are strategically located before each terrain feature. Signage in each zone offers guidance with a “trick tip”, a Smart Style message, and a picture of the feature. It is all designed to demonstrate how freestyle snowboarding is done best – with safety and with style.

Snow-shoe tracks
Discover the regions natural beauty adventuring through the 6 snow-shoe hiking tracks offering several levels of difficulty over different terrains and altitudes up to 2000 metres.

Husky adventures
Discover the magical dog sled rides around the mountains from short rides to driving a team of huskies. From 10 minute to 2 hour excursions.

Famliy fun
Children and beginner skiers can take advantage of the frozen lake, Tracouet, where snow gardens and child friendly equipment guarantee your family's introduction to skiing will be a fun experience. Our 4 ski schools offer high quality tuition and are able look after children throughout the day, with ski lessons available from 3 years old and upwards. Other non skiing activities include arts and crafts, board games, sledging and ice skating discos.
